  • Remarks addendumIn 2007-2008, they remodeled and updated both, east side, bedrooms with Anderson replacement windows, installed a linen closet in the hallway, updated all electrical outlets throughout the house, installed heating lines and control circuits to attic space, removed the overgrown hedges along the road frontage, and built a decorative stone wall with lighting. In 2010, they removed all galvanized piping and installed new PEX tubing and PVC drains throughout the house, installed hydronic radiant floors in kitchen and dining space, updated the kitchen and dining space with new Harvey windows and doors, and installed a gas cooktop and a new vent hood. In 2011, they had Powers CO. replace and install windows throughout the home, except kitchen, dining space, and basement. In 2012, they updated the whole master bathroom installing electric radiant flooring and a custom shower and more, installed high efficiency toilets in both bathrooms, and updated the vanity in main house bathroom. In 2014, they installed a staircase from the back porch to the ground level. In 2015, they removed all old maple trees that were destroying the retaining wall behind the house and installed a new roof on the house. In 2016, they built a new stone retaining wall and steps down to the backyard and between the driveway and 94 Great Plain Road (shared space with property line division down the center), upgraded the backyard landscape, and created a flood pond with all natural drainage (wasn't needed, but the pond fills up with water when it rains and it looks beautiful). In 2018, they installed a new roof on the porch and a new, hybrid electric high efficiency, water heater. In 2019, they painted the entire exterior of house and shed, stained the porch and stairs, installed lighting for the porch stairway, and a new baseboard heat loop to the attic space. In 2020, they built shelving for the storage area under the porch, installed a new backsplash in the kitchen, built new retaining walls along the house side of the driveway, new steps and a landing to the front door, and emptied the septic tank in March. In 2021, the installed new flashing around the chimney, painted the interior of house, and refinished all the wood floors.
